So, back in the day there was an internal mod for PowerBooks (ones that didn’t have video out) that allowed output to an external monitor. It was made by Mirror. https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/some-mod-for-powerbook-170-display-out.32379/
While searching for PBs, I saw a fully functioning PB 170 for cheap. But I’d wanted one that can output to an external monitor.
So, what about recreating this mod for the 170?
