Does the Apple II mouse card also work on the Apple ///?

Yes it does.

You will need the sos driver for the mouse, I think it is on one of these this disks:

Just plugged-in the Apple II mouse card (part 670-0030-E). The Apple /// greeted me with a check board pattern (I believe four squares by thee?). I switched it off quickly to avoid any damage. Any idea what is not right here?

Have you tried that card in an apple 2 to make sure it's functional?
What slot do you have the mouse card in? My A2 mouse card has the same P/N.

Here is a quick and dirty video of it working:

Thanks, lisa2. Great video! I put the mouse card into slot 1, 2 or 4 with the same results. I noticed that my Apple /// doesn't like the CFFA3000 card and the mouse card installed at the same time. That's where the A3 doesn't boot. Once I remove the CFFA3000 and leave the mouse card installed, the A3 boots as normal, though it did not recognise the mouse card (I changed the slot settings for SOS.DRIVER). I'll try it in a IIGS next to see if the card is damaged.
