| BlueSCSI and 512k with SCSI board |
Posted by: CharlieFrown on 2023-06-21 06:14:48 Hi,
I really like the BlueSCSI, has anyone tried it with 512k with extra RAM and SCSI board with DB25 connector? I have a machine like this but there's a broken pin in SCSI board so I am not able to try it.
Cheers

Posted by: mike-d on 2023-08-13 14:00:21 I just ordered a BlueSCSI V2 for my Mac Plus. I also have a 512k with SCSI so I'm going to try the BlueSCSI on it. I'll let you know how it works. |
Posted by: mike-d on 2023-08-30 14:50:21 @CharlieFrown I tried this and it works great! Once I got the BlueSCSI V2 working on my Plus I moved it over to my 512. The virtual drives show up just fine. All of the classic Mac software that I tried worked. Memory would, of course, limit what you can run.
I believe this machine started out life as a 128k. It has 512k of memory and a Dove SCSI interface. I used Disk Jockey to create the drive images and loaded the software with Basilisk II. This seemed to be the magic sauce. |
