these guys are working on 8-bit like, ZX-eseque platform game, what's really cool about it is monochrome graphics.
It's originally for Amiga, but there are planned ports for C64, Atari XL/XE and such. I asked them about B&W Macs, but sadly they dont have any Mac coders, so someone skilled could drop them a line.
Do you think a basic 68000@8mhz without any custom graphics chips could handle this?
we have recently been informed by Saberman, that a new demo has been teased called 'Tony' by Monochrome Productions!

I didn't see any scrolling, and only a few sprites at a time.
It's similar to Dark Castle and Prince of Persia, which run fine on a 68000.
I did see some shots of tracker music in the video, which the 68000 will have trouble with.
Music would have to be pre-rendered to maintain decent performance.
