| Lc 475 no display or floppy/ scsi activity |

Picked up another lc 475.. looked good, no battery leakage but needed recapping. So cleaned and did recap. Board chimes, but no activity from floppy or scsi or no display. Chime is loud and clear. Reflowed egret and roms, still nothing. Good battery too.. any ideas? |

did you check the onboard RAM chips ?
did the caps leak ? if yes, maybe there are broken traces somewhere |

also, do you have VRAM sticks in it ? there is no onboard VRAM so without them, you will not get any video output |

If the board is chiming RAM should be OK. Means the ROM is OK too, also means the Egret has mostly done it's job I believe.
Maybe take a look at the LC III schematics as the startup bits should be similar I think. |
