Sadly, working one got early stage of vinegar syndrome, so I've swapped display from dead 2400c which hasn't suffering syndrome.
But after I swapped display, backlit comes on but no pictures on the screen.
At first, I thought display is dead, but when I press left side of display hard enough, display comes on.
So I disassebmled display housing and found if I press display connector hard, picture comes on.
It looks like display connector on LCD site have some physical connection issues, but I cannot make it stable.
I've put cardboard to push connectors, but it still unstable when I touch screen.
Does anyone have this problem and knows best way to fix this? | Posted by: 3lectr1cPPC on 2023-04-12 10:22:25 check for cracked solder joints on the ribbon cable connector? | Posted by: Kamomr on 2023-04-12 22:17:53
check for cracked solder joints on the ribbon cable connector? Oh, that might be reasonable cause of flickering.
Then it might be on LCD's controller board side? | Posted by: 3lectr1cPPC on 2023-04-13 03:32:13 Not sure. You said that it works if you “press the display connector hard” so wherever that it. | | 1 |
