Hey friends, I have an 02 Quicksilver with an Apple Cinema display (the plastic-front one). As I am using a 3rd party PSU, I have to use the ADC->DVI adapter. This works great when plugged directly in to my NVidia card's DVI port.
However, when I place the KVM between the computer and the monitor, everything seems to go fine until partway through OS9's bootup procedure. I see the progress line move about 10-15% of the distance across and then poof, the computer just immediately shuts down.
Anyone have a handle on how I can troubleshoot this? I would really like to use the KVM so that I can use my G4 and G5 side by side. Help appreciated! | | 1 |
