Posted by: RadRacer203 on 2023-04-01 10:05:38Wondering if anyone happens to have a working Apple Network Server with AIX loaded who might be able to send me an image of the hard drive. I have an ANS 500/132 and I'm having endless issues getting AIX installed on it after the drive failed. I'm hoping to have it at VCF East in a couple weeks and I honestly don't see that happening unless I get a good hard drive image. If anyone has one, PLEASE let me know!

The AIX install is not too tricky once you know the device name to install to, and boot the AIX media with the key in the "service" position. Maybe if you can say more about what trouble you are having we can sort it out.
