I was testing different cards I have lying around together with an old Airport Express router. I installed the latest Orinoco driver 7.2 and it was recognized as a bronze card, so only works without encryption. The 1400c automatically added its correct IP so I could set up TCP/IP manually and ..bang, on the net. It works under 8.6 and 9.1..it looks loke this:

View attachment 54533 Do you have a picture of the other side? Sounds like it is a Lucient WaveLAN based card. | Posted by: MacUp72 on 2023-03-30 01:09:25 it doesnt specifically name the chipset on it but it must be Lucent based.
