I believe SCSI allows daisy-chaining drives, which should(?) allow adding an internal SCSI SD drive linked to the existing original HDD in my SE/30. Would that physically fit though? It would be nice to place it at the opening in the back of the machine in that case, so that the SD card can easily be taken out.
I see that external (DB25?) SD options also exist. Is there any reason to prefer one over the other? For example, could the external option be used to boot the machine from in case the original HDD dies? | Posted by: Nixontheknight on 2023-03-24 17:14:52

In theory it should, the SCSI2SD, BlueSCSI, and ZuluSCSI aren't very big, but you should be careful as to where you place it, as you do run the risk of possibly being in contact with the CRT, but mounting it to the back is a great idea | | 1 |
