SE/30 Weird sound issue?
Posted by: smrieck511 on 2023-03-23 09:45:35 I'm currently only booting from the ROM disk (bare minimal system 7.1 - no extensions) on the Rominator II or a boot floppy so I'm not sure if that plays into this in anyway. (BlueSCSI in the mail). My SE/30 has a boot chime, system sounds, game audio on the ones I've tested and everything seems good, but I understand the ASC is also capable of wavetable synthesis. I used Snooper to test the wavetable sounds from a floppy disk and there was no output. Is there an issue? Or would a system version or booting from the ROM disk cause this? Thanks for any help.
Posted by: smrieck511 on 2023-03-23 12:26:54 Disregard this, I copied over the Rominator System Folder to miniVMac and re-created the exact same problem.... solved by updating full 7.1 install. Wish I knew how to delete a thread?
