Slow down Quadra for compatibility

Surprised I wasn’t able to find anything on this- I am trying to run a serial video capture peripheral that is verified on an SE, but captures digital noise on a quadra. It was suggested it is out of sync due to software that might be tied to clock speed like some old games that run too fast.

Any utilities available to bog down the system to test this theory?

Ah no, a Q605 they don't have weird serial.

To be honest, given the era they're from and what they're doing, it is very likely they just don't work with computers that new. Have you got the newest version of the software? Can you share photos of the boards?

In the distant past it worked on an LC…

I don't think there is any need. When you said you were having serial issues on a Quadra, I thought it might be a 9x0 is why I mentioned Serial Switch.
