| Cleaning the Brightness Pot? |

I have deoxit D5 and I know how to clean a potentiometer, but I am having a hard time getting the plastic knob off of the pot… Is there is some technique? I feel like I'm gonna break the pot if I pull too hard. |

sometimes they are very hard to remove, I'd use a heat gun (just a few seconds) or a hair drier in order to soften the plastic and make the removal a little easier.
Also, do you really need to remove the knob to apply D5? |

yeah, I wasn't entirely sure. I thought with a flashlight I could see the little hole in the pot on the underside so I sprayed some in and hopefully you got it. I think I'm just too afraid to break it. It works, so I'm not gonna mess with it anymore. |
