I realize that a mid-2009 MacBook Pro is a little outside the usual forums here but I thought that others may have encountered a situation similar to mine. I have a mid-2009 MacBook Pro that I use for light work, although I use it intermittently. I typically leave it running. Last week, I woke it up to find that the laptop was no longer connected to my WiFi network. The Network settings panel will not allow me to turn on the WiFi -- it lists it as "Off." I tried restarting the machine, to no avail.
Has anyone else encountered this situation? Have others had a failed WiFi card? Any other thoughts?
