Never understood why they removed it. |

* Had to reinstall and only had a X.4 DVD. |

Oh I have not been here in a while, I no longer have OS X.5*(I just updated my signature now) and was looking for something of X.2 as well
* Had to reinstall and only had a X.4 DVD. There do seem to be some vestiges of Spaces still extant in recent macOS versions: "Displays have separate Spaces" is an option under the Mission Control preference pane on Mojave, so at least some of the functionality is still there (I can't say about newer versions).
