Apple II in wooden box / identifying cards
Posted by: plb007 on 2023-02-17 09:59:19
Hi,
I had for a long time in my attic an Apple II inside a wooden box. I don't know what's was the story of this computer. The box is paint and looks nicely made.
They are several card inside. I can identify the Disk// interface, an Z80 card, also a 80 column card ?, an another card without any relevant labels which connect to (instead) RAM module.
Any comment regarding this strange configuration ?IMG_6240.jpegIMG_6238.jpegIMG_6235.jpegIMG_6239.jpeg

Disk ][ card and Z80 card are self explanatory. The 3rd card with the RCA cable I would have to imagine is an 80 column card. I don't know what that last card is. It's either a language card or a RAM card.

The last card is a 16k card, sometimes called a language card. It lets your Apple II use 64k of RAM
