ZuluSCSI Mini R/W speed - is this normal?
Posted by: 1200XL M.U.L.E. on 2023-02-16 21:23:30
I found a neat little benchmark program called TimeDrive.

Here is what the program said about my ZuluSCSI Mini.

(apologies again for my super blue photos - CRT screens are hard to photograph)

Is that a normal speed? Am I ahead of the curve? Am I behind? Are there settings I should tweak in the zuluscsi.ini file to better my performance here?

@1200XL M.U.L.E. Apologies for the late reply. Without knowing which Macintosh machine and CPU you're using, there isn't enough information here to be able to answer definitively, but if it's a 68000-based compact Mac (which the screenshot seems to suggest it may be) then yes, those numbers are quite good, when compared to the system CPU bus speed.
