| Mac IIci replacement diode |
Posted by: captjon320 on 2023-02-08 22:39:08 Recapping another IIci board and noticed that one of the small black diodes is missing from Q3. I assume it is the same diode that is on D3, D4, D5?
I need to purchase a replacement, but haven’t figured out what to purchase. Any help would be appreciated.
I have attached some pictures for your reference. |
Posted by: volvo242gt on 2023-02-09 02:54:23 Just checked the board that I picked up for my IIci. Q3 is either 1AMW or 1/4MW. D5 on my board is marked 5DW. Same with D4, etc. |

I appreciate it. |
Posted by: captjon320 on 2023-02-17 07:09:26 Update one this. I actually found the tiny transistor in the bottom of the case. I soaked it in IPA, cleaned it up and soldered it back in place.
Mac IIci is up and running again.
Thank you community for all the information. |
