Will it work if I plug my Sony 800k floppy drive (internal) to the floppy port inside my LC II? Will it recognize these disks? It should, right? |

It should. It just won't read the 1.4MB disks, since it is, after all, an 800K mechanism. |

Thank you for confirming what I thought. Yes, I am using an LC II as a floppy drive tester. I have a drive that’s driving me insane! It will only read prodos formatted disks! I have been fiddling with the alignment for days and I can’t get it to read hfs. I’ve given up working on it and was checking to make sure that the LC wasn’t the problem. Oh well 😩 |
