| PowerBook 145B Noise & not booting |

Hi everyone,
I have a PowerBook 145B which for many years now is unable to boot and most of the time produces a loud noise:

The screen is recapped and the main battery removed since years.. |

What about the PSU ?
Probably have a spare logic board if required. |

Sounds like my PowerBook 150 when trying to run it off its dying battery, as it dies it will display a blank screen like that and similar speaker crackle. So yeah, check the AC adapter if it's an original, if not my next guess would be a short somewhere. |

Ok thanks, I'll check the PSU. Up to now, I considered it as working because I used it sometimes for my PowerCD, but I know that the PowerCD is very tolerant concerning its input voltage... |
