| Simple mounting solution for SE/30 speaker |
Posted by: Zitruskeks on 2023-01-19 06:45:00 I had to remove the speaker from the faceplate of my SE/30 and was looking for a simple, non-permanent, adhesive-free way to reattach the speaker.
I designed a super simple washer that sits firmly on the speaker cone and allows the metal chassis to also hold the speaker in place.

If it sat on the cone, the speaker wouldn't work all that well.
Probably a good print for TPU filament. |

Posted by: Zitruskeks on 2023-01-19 10:27:15 Its 3,50 mm in Thickness, so its sits snug, but not overly tight using the original rubber pad between the speaker and the front.
Foam would be rather stiff to be ableto bridge the gap between the mac chassis touching it on the rear and the point where it sits on the frame of the speaker. |
