Finally found a Q700

I’ve been looking for a while with no luck. But finally got a Quadra 700. It was disgustingly filthy (I think mice lived in it??!!) but after a good scrub it turned out nice (and working!!). €250 incl. international shipping (within EU) so feels like a OK deal.

(God is Lemmings more fun in color 🙃)

Nice!! Always liked the Q700! Congrats on your find! They have tantalum caps so unless the battery has leaked they are usually fine.

PSUs can be flaky as well, best recap that, though I’ve heard they’re a pain to work on. Good find!

Psu same as q700 and iici, iicx, quadra 650 etc

Hi all, I thought I'd start a new thread on this... @Mods, feel free to move this to The Lounge or elsewhere if you prefer... To start things off - here are a couple pics of the logic board from a PM8100/80 I acquired for parts (PSU dead). Not sure I'm going to try to resuscitate this...

I thought I did but sadly I have deleted them. Not much to see expect filth in the form of half eaten nuts, mouse spillings and cigarette ash (I’m guessing) 🤢
