Posted by: jwse30 on 2022-12-21 04:44:33So I am getting ready to install a Daystar Accelerator in my SE/30, and am wanting to install a 32 bit clean ROM while I am in there. Are any of the new ROMs able to be flashed to mock a IIsi or IIfx ROM so the accelerator will work with it?
Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

PurpleROM 2MB 64-pin Flash ROM SIMM for Apple Macintosh computers

With a minipro/TL866 and PLCC socket adapters, they're flashable to standard IIsi ROMs. I've been meaning to make a tutorial, maybe I'll get around to it during the holidays.

Only if you have the flashing board to replace the stock rominator rom, afaik. If it’s a Turbo040 it’s incompatible with the romdisk so you have to flash back to a stock IIsi rom.
