| Apple II on the Mac |
Posted by: onabeach on 2022-12-04 08:11:00 Did Apple ever consider offering a 68k Mac running the Apple II OS? Could it be a dual boot system? It could have then run the huge amount of Apple II software available at the time. |
Posted by: onabeach on 2022-12-04 08:16:54 Just found the answer: Apple came out with an Apple IIe pds card that apparently works in the Color Classic. 😄 |

It only runs properly on compact Macs. |
Posted by: Cortland on 2022-12-07 13:37:24 Some people inside Apple evene made an Apple IIgs emulator for the Power Macintosh in software, but it never became an official product. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_IIGS#Gus |

I miss emulation dot net. Great resource for emulators on Macintosh. |
