jumper settings for GigaDesigns 1.3GHz 7457
Posted by: indibil on 2022-11-29 10:42:05
Hello,
I recently purchased a G4 Cube upgrade card from GigaDesigns to 1.3GHz. When removing the heatsink I have seen that it has a 7457 at 1200.

On the PCB, J1-J5 are used to select the CPU speed multiplier, I was able to find the PDF on google where it explains it, but I have been unable to find how to configure J6-J10, the red circle in the photo, which I suppose is It is used to adjust the voltage. Does anyone have the pdf of these jumpers?

In a blue circle, would it be used to connect a fan?

what would be the maximum stable speed for a 7457-1200?

My idea would be to adapt this processor to a Quicksilver.

Thanks.

I found out that it's not GigaDesigns, it's OWC. I have found a guide but it only explains the speed switches, it does not explain anything about the voltage adjustment.
