Posted by: egrath on 2022-11-27 04:13:22Hi,
i just picked up a Quadra 650 locally which is missing all of it's RAM except for the soldered 4 MiB. As i don't have any 72 Pin FPM SIMMs around, i think of buying "Offtek" branded ones which seem to be completely new sticks built out of new components. Has anyone already experience with those, especially if they work reliable. Their spec seems pretty common: 72 Pin, FPM, 32 MiB, Non-Parity, 60 ns.
Guaranteed compatible RAM memory upgrades matched to the Quadra 650. Free delivery, lifetime warranty and everyday low prices

Consider getting smaller simms, or only fitting two 32MB SIMMs. 128MB takes over a minute to do the memory test on startup. You're just sat there watching a blank screen.
