Sonnet PCI USB / Firewire Card Drivers for Mac OS 9
Posted by: BustedCap97 on 2022-11-07 14:15:12I have a purple Sonnet PCI USB / Firewire card and it works in Mac OS X, but apparently it is also supposed to work in Mac OS 9. My two onboard USB ports are taken up by a keyboard and mouse, and It would be great if I could get this card running under Mac OS 9. I have not been able to locate drivers for it. Does anyone know about these cards enough to point me in the right direction?

If you install the card before running the system installer it should auto detect. But I usually do a custom install to make sure the PCI USB option is selected.
You can re-run the installer over the top of your current install if needed.

I'll have to try tomorrow. G4 is in the garage and its extremely chilly out there at this time.
