| Macintosh II - How set up for 2 x 3.5" Hard Drives |
Posted by: happymacunhappymac on 2022-10-20 21:49:55 Just wondering if anyone has set up a Mac II for two 3.5" hard drives? Mine has the old sled for 40MB Quantum 5.25". I've seen 3.5" sleds in the same location. But I've never seen two 3.5" sleds in a Mac II, although it appears two 3.5" drives would fit.
Thank you. |

Is that laser cut? 🤣
I printed a template on a piece of paper, measured it to see how far out the scale was, modified the drawing and printed it again. Stuck the template to some steel sheet, cut it out with a 5" angle grinder, pausing to occasionally put the template out... then folded it in a vise, painted it and stuck it in the machine.
Sadly I got the holes for the second disk slightly wonky and it is a couple of degrees out of alignment. Never mind. |
