I’ve already ordered a BlueSCSI, so this is more of a curiosity than anything I guess. I was going through some boxes and I happened to find an old 68 pin internal SCSI drive, I see there are 68 to 50 pin interface adapters online so I went ahead and ordered one.

As long as the LVD-drive (low-voltage differential) supports Single-Ended-mode, you'll be grand.
It is often written on the HD as LVD/SE.
There is a slim chance that this is a HVD (high-voltage differential) disk so you should check the specs of the disk online first.
If that drive is the only drive on the SCSI bus it will need to be terminated. Hopefully, there is a jumper that allows termination on the 68-pin-to-50-adapter. If not, you will have to find which jumper on the HD terminates it.
Depending on what 68-pin drive you have, it can get hot. This is a consideration if you are considering putting it into a compact mac like an SE or SE/30.
