Macintosh Classic Hard Drive Internal Terminator
Posted by: bibilit on 2016-05-22 10:00:09
I have found a small board in the HD connector of a Macintosh Classic.

Never seen one of those before, so probably this was one of those Classic sold without a Hard Drive fitted.

What is the purpose of such an item ?

Like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-Internal-50-Pin-SCSI-Terminator-820-0408-A-/321794012132

I guess if there's no internal drive, you still need a terminator so that external SCSI device will work.

Yes, the same unit.

Yes seems obvious, but haven't seen any of those before, and the Double 800k SEs for instance has not such item provided.
