CRT Tubes on B/W Compacts: Are they all the same?

Hi,
are all B/W 9" Compacts using the same (e.g. interchangeable) CRT tubes? The CRT on my Plus is really worn out and i might be able to pick up one from a SE for small money, but don't know if it will fit. From pictures i saw they really look (absolutely?) similar.

I think I'd the thread were renamed slightly different it would be a bit easier to find. 😉 Even I don't remember what it's called until I fumble around with search terms for a while. I've since bookmarked it, but all the same.

E.g. Compact Mac CRT compatibility guide/chart
Or interchange… something that touches more on the interchangeability of the display components of the compacts.

However, that thread does cover more than just that. It covers some history, construction, etc. And I'm not saying this to take s pot shot at Scot Barrett, the thread's OP. I mean they even suggested the mods sticky the thread—sensible idea to me as well 🙂
