Sparky McSparkswitch

My SE/30 has developed a sparking problem at the power switch. At first I couldn't get it to turn on, but found that slowly rocking the switch would give an exciting light show, and after a nice whiff of ozone, I'm greated with the boot chimes and my desktop.

Are all the switches from the compact Macs that are approx. 1"x3/4" interchangeable? I know some switches are narrow, like on my 128, but didn't know if the others have minute differences that wouldn't let them directly replace each other. If so, does anyone have a white switch I could buy?

SE and SE/30 switches are the same, indeed Analog boards are interchangeable.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks. I guess the holes in the bucket would have to line up with the switch, making them interchangeable. What about switches only (not complete boards) from Mac Classic and II, they look the same?

Anyone have a spare switch in white?

yea, the contacts are burned off. Switch is shot.

You could probably take some measurements of the switch, and look up replacement rocker switches on digikey to find one that matches.
