Where to find 2.5" BlueSCSI in UK
Posted by: croissantking on 2022-08-05 05:45:22
I would like to get a BlueSCSI or similar to use with my PowerBook 520c. Does anyone know if there is a local supplier of these in the United Kingdom (or failing that, the EU)?

as far as I can tell, they aren't sold in the UK, but they are in the EU, according to https://scsi.blue/

I have one of these:

Ordered it last year and picked up when over in the US. Never got round to using it. Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Thank you for the offer – I didn't see your reply until just now. I've managed to source one now.

Is anyone in contact with the blueSCSI creator? I'm interested in a little mass production to sell in Europe but I can't reach him.

There is already a fair amount of production, guy called OneGeekArmy, operating out of Belgium!

Not sure the demand is there to warrant "mass" production though, it is a bit of a nich market.
Most other SCSI emulators target a wider audience of vintage machines, the Blue SCSI is basically specifically for the classic mac's using SCSI....
