Found the software, accelerator in.
Working fine so far, a bit faster than standard setup.
Anyone knows the purpose of the edge connector ? And how the upper daughter board works ?

Daughterboard says it's a cache card. So I suspect it works in a similar fashion to the early Daystar cards with the external cache board.

No idea about the edge connector. It could just be an easy way to test all the card's functions in a custom harness (like an external ISA-type slot.)

Can be, was thinking probably a way to have another card connected to the bus, as the main accelerator is already using the PDS slot

I have this accelerator as well, though I haven't tested it yet. I too wonder if AE made, or planned to make, additional upgrades that would work through the accelerator.

This isn't unheard of, given there were Compact Mac accelerators that had video or other upgrades that would plug into the accelerator.
