Display problem on Macintosh Plus
Posted by: Wawavoun on 2022-07-02 10:20:26 Hello there, On a a recapped Mac Plus I got this display : Macintosh Plus analog board repair Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube. www.youtube.com There is also a strong corona discharge noise... I know probably I have to change this transformer. Is there a possible repair (put epoxy resin inside and so on) ? But is this moving display problem related also to this transformer ? Definitely an analogue board problem; swapping AB made it go away. AB already recapped. Capacitors of decent quality and known to work in other ABs... 68kmla.org
Posted by: bibilit on 2022-07-03 02:41:54 Bad solder joint or voltage too low. using a multimeter at the floppy port is the way to go. on the side of the Analog Board, a pot is provided for adjusting voltage.
