Kilroy by Dave Koziol
Posted by: olePigeon on 2022-04-18 12:12:09
Does anyone have a copy of Kilroy by Dave Koziol? It was originally released on a BMUG disk at some point. It's funny little Control Panel that would add a random Kilroy every now and then to a window or dialog box. πŸ™‚

Would like to find a copy.

I can't get any of the BMUG PD-ROM images on Archive.org to mount.

That sounds fun, hope you find it!

It looks like it is in the "Totally Rad Mac Programs" disk, page 2 https://vintageapple.org/macbooks/pdf/Totally_Rad_Mac_Programs_2nd_Edition_1994.pdf

Many of those "totally rad" programs DO sound pretty rad πŸ™‚

@Johnnya101 Hmmm. I wonder if I can track down a copy of that book with a working floppy disk.

Awesome, glad it was found. Now I've got to try some of those out... and upload some to the garden.

Kilroy is a bit big. I'm hoping I can modify it and make a mini Kilroy. πŸ™‚

Ooh, I love fun useless extensions like these! I'm gonna have to bust out the PB 170 and get them transferred over!

Aw shucks. I should have been the one to pull it out of a disk image. You know, given my name and all…

Unfortunately the Kilroy graphics were compiled into a resource as hex. I wouldn't be able to decode or change anything. Shoot. A persistent mini Kilroy would have been fun. πŸ™‚

Since it was postcardware, send Dave Koziol a postcard with a note. See what happens. πŸ˜‰
