| recapping a Portable M5120, non backlight | |
| Posted by: ironborn65 on 2022-04-06 13:43:32 Hi pals, I found a nice Mac Portable, but the previous owners did not finish the recapping, i.e. they removed the caps, so I have not a clue which are which. Bruce has a guide, but for the backlight version. I found a high res pic, the 47uF 16V, 470uF 25V are ok, but some are still not clearly readable. I can guess what they are, but I prefer to be sure and ask here you guys. Can someone help? thanks so much  | |

| Posted by: ironborn65 on 2022-04-07 06:07:08 comparing with the Backlight version by Bruce I could infer that: the 1uF 50V SMD at the left bottom and top left are correct so do the 10uF 16V SMD on the right I'd be positive. For the axial ones: C2 220uF 25V C3 100uF 25V C6 100uF 25V C18 100uF 25V C19 100uF 25V C20 ?? Thanks @Torbar and everyone else to follow me on this ! this is all I need! | |
