Is there any conceivable way to get a G4 Tower (Gigabit Eth) to accept and drive an Apple TV box (or Amazon Fire, Roku, etc)
I realize this probably means jailbreaking the box (lemme know if that’s not allowed to discuss on here) as well as some sort of PCI video card with HDMI out. (If such an animal exists).
I know it’s a stretch but I’m just curious if anyone has ever achieved it.
motivation: trying to get my kid into STEM type stuff and by extension the technical side of vintage computers. she’ll be ok with me putting a nice G4 and 23” Cinema HD Display in her room as a lab but only if she can get Netflix/Amazon Video/Apple TV etc to play on the monitor in her off time.
