I’d like to consult the community for a topic I try to get my head around for quite some time.
On (or actually below) my desk I have multiple Macs. For lack of space reasons, I prefer to have 1 screen, mouse and keyboard. Preferrably without swapping cables all the time.
I know in the past there were multiple solutions to switch the adb, like Dr Botts Moniswitch, but they are impossible to find anymore.
I lack the skills to solder a solution myself.
I’m now thinking of buying multiple usb/adb wombats, and link them to a vga/usb kvm switch. It would be super expensive, but I guess it works.
But then there’s the point of hot swapping adb. I guess that the off-the-shelf solitions like Moniswitch didn’t destroy the adb bus. But would the same go for a solition like the above!
Glad to hear any suggestions that would help me to solve this!
