MacOS /software for Portable M5120
Posted by: Berenod on 2022-03-09 01:34:17
I am struggling a bit to get the OS to work correctly.
When I install from the installer floppy's (6.0.8), the OS seems to install correctly to the BlueSCSI, and afterwards boots correctly.

However none of the software in the "System Folder" on the hard drive seems to work, see picture below.
The stuff in the top left menu (calculator, finder, ...) does work correctly.

I also prepared an SD card (for the BlueSCSI) using Basilisk, exactly the same result.
Made sure to use "System software for Macintosh Portable"

Any Idea's? Also, do feel free to propose other usefull software or games for the Portable 😎

That is System 6: Control Panels are not opened via the Finder, but are instead accessed via the Control Panel option in the Apple Menu.

^^What @LaPorta said 🙂

I'm sure it can be confusing for those who've never used System 6 before.
