Hello,
I recently purchased a Macintosh Display Card 670 for my Iici, and it is outputting distorted video. I've tried a few of the NuBus ports with no change in result. On board video works fine. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have another machine to try the card with? If yes, does it also show the same symptoms? If not, it's possible that your IIci needs to have the 74ALS240A chip next to C16 cleaned up or replaced. @pfuentes69 discovered that when the chip goes bad, the Nubus bus goes dead. Something I read up on when I was diagnosing my IIci's inability to recognize an Asanté MC3NB card that I'd bought from @androda. Card works fine in my Centris 650, but the IIci doesn't see it at all. | | 1 |
