So I got an unopened daynaport scsi on eBay!! Mint in the box…shrinkwrapped! I probably overpaid for it but whatever.

The smell is amazing!! When I was a kid plastics smelled differently than they do now. This takes me back!!

That is a really, really nice find. I love the art style on Mac-related manuals from that period, the "simultaneously understated and trying a bit too hard" and the colourfulness. And the device itself is a really useful thing to have too.

i also made a diskcopy image of the floppy that came with it, since there didn't seem to be any on macintosh garden
