| G4 Cube SuperDrive / DVD-R mounting bracket | |
| Posted by: ried on 2022-02-24 11:20:28 I have a new Panasonic (Matshita) UJ-875 Superdrive for the Cube, but need a mounting bracket to secure it inside the Cube's chassis. I know several people have 3D printed brackets and shared their designs in the now defunct CubeOwner.com forums. Does anyone know where I can find the 3D print file for one of these Superdrive brackets?  | |
| Posted by: ScutBoy on 2022-02-24 13:32:47 There was a member (parism) on Cubeowner who made brackets, but they were not 3d printed. I know because I have one. It looks more carved out of plastic than anything. Anyway, this bracket is available on thingiverse.com and says it will work in the Cube, but I've not tried it.

You need (4) M2 countersunk head screws to mount the drive to the frame. To move the drive's slot up and down to fit the cut-out in the case, change the value of "abstand" in the OpenSCAD...
