SE/30 Power R 2703
Posted by: Von on 2022-02-21 09:19:05
Hello,

Anyone know about this item:
Description:
This was a working pull of a Power R video adapter. Unusual and rare item.
It plugs into the logic board power supply connector and plug your power supply cable into it.
The video cable that comes with it plugs into the module and routes signals out to a 9-pin connector.
Because of age, sold AS-IS

Does it replicate the video signal and duplicate it to an external monitor or does it route such that the only video is coming from an external monitor??

THx!

This seems to be a clip on device that sends images out to TTL monitors (LCD projectors) or old CGA monitors.

See here for some discussion of various earlier models and a schematic of the 2702 model.

Here's a video of Power R 2702 in one of my Mac Plus (Would had worked in my 128K, 512K also). I purchase it on Ebay last year and got a 1988 NEC Multisync ll monitor. I played with it that day and made a temporary video cable from the card to the monitor. The monitor had a ground issue on one the pin that was supposed to be a ground pin. I had some issue with it. Been kinda busy and haven't touch it since I mad the video.
