KVM Switch and Display for pre-ADB Macs?
Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2021-12-15 07:30:33 Several current projects around here were swirling around in my noggin this morning, this popped up: How to share my putty colored MAC-101 KBD with my Plus menagerie and maybe a future (my first Mac) 512K? _ we've been looking at ye olde Mac video output a la CatMac/Hackintosh again lately _ 128K-Plus KBD/Mouse availability for the 128K-Plus seems to be limited for our collections I'm thinking along the lines of a shelf (or two) of paleolithic Compacts hooked up to a slide out K/M drawer with LCD mounted to the back of the bookshelf mirroring the display of the KVM'd Compact of the moment above. Think bbraun's Worm wall, which would be neat to do in itself using just six to eight compacts? So, silly or not so silly notion? To take this one over the top as usual. 😬 PS2 Keyboard on Mac Plus Ever since I got the pile of compacts without keyboards or mice, I've been on the lookout for keyboards. Most of the keyboards I see available are going for about as much as the whole machine, so I haven't picked any up. Finally, I gave up and decided to make an adapter that allows using a PS2... 68kmla.org Running the PaleoMac KVM setup to a main workstation USB KVM switch next to the bookshelf would be pretty neat as well?
