| Quadra 605 speed bump |
Posted by: Macdrone on 2016-04-10 08:19:25 This can go in either LC or Quadra as the 605 is exactly the same as the LC4XX motherboard. Put in a full 040, moved 2 resistors to bump it to 33 mhz. Put in 32 megs of ram for 36 total. Nice and speedy.

Posted by: Juror22 on 2016-04-10 11:27:10 I just went with the true 040 and the memory increase - I have been happy with that, but a little clock increase might be nice. I will have to take another look at it and maybe switch the two resistors too.

Posted by: uniserver on 2016-04-11 02:44:02 good job. 33mhz is a treat!

Posted by: Macdrone on 2016-04-11 18:05:36 the 40 mhz performa is better. IDE hard disk out of a powermac so its 2 gig apple drive, full fpu and now 136 megs is sweet. 7.5.5 it may be my new bridge mac.
