| Qemu can now emulate a Quadra 800 and run A/UX 3.x |
Posted by: cat7 on 2021-09-01 23:52:37 Hi all,
Recently Qemu got the ability to emulate a Quadra 800 capable of running A/UX 3.x. While not yet in the main Qemu source and being considered alpha quality, some ready-to-use builds for Windows and macOS hosts are available at the emaculation forum: https://www.emaculation.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=37

Qemu folks continuing to produce good stuff, I see. This is nifty! Thanks for the heads-up, I'd have missed this otherwise |

There has been a presentation of the 68K status for QEMU last year for one of the M68K talks. |

Very nice work and looking forward to getting clean shutdowns from QEMU so we can reboot and come back up more easily.
Running on my MacPro on 11.5.2. |

Running on my MacPro on 11.5.2. How were you able to get the A/UX SD image to boot in QEMU? It doesn't work for me (Sad Mac error); my understanding is that this is because there are multiple virtual drives in the SCSI2SD image. |
