I have a couple of powersupplies for a 950 or WGS 9150 that I'd like to move along to a new home. But I am struggling with how to test them since I no longer have the machine. Is there a jumper I can place on a couple of the pins to at least see if the fan spins up? I hate to sell them as is on fleabay and waste everyones time. I know they were working at the time I had the machine but am not sure how they have faired sitting in my pile of parts. |

No replies here, but figured I'd update just in case anyone else ever wants to do this, pins 1, and 12 or white and blue wires respectively on both of my power supplies is what you need to jumper. Turns out both of these seem to still be alive and well. |

Nice to know those are the jumper pins for testing. Luckly my Quadra 900 is well and alive, but comes the day when I have to replace the psu I know where to look, thanks mate! |

Hi @macuserman I'm currently about to embark on a journey of repairing a defective 950 PSU. In case I don't get very far, do you know how much it would be to ship to the UK...? |

In case I don't get very far, You don't need a spare PSU in case you can't get your existing one working, as you can do an ATX replacement instead (basically, an ATX PSU for a PC placed inside the Q950 PSU enclosure, wire-up the power connections to the original Mac logic board connector, wire-up a little circuit for soft power, and hey presto you have a working PSU again).
