Help with ADC and AGP chicanery
Posted by: DracheMitch on 2021-07-15 11:29:20
I upgraded my 2003 MDD with a new ATX power supply since the old Bell module was A: noisy AF, and B: dying.

Because the new power supply doesn't (I've been told) supply ADC power, I can't get video on my OEM Radeon 9000 Pro ATI card. I'm using the DVI port and not the ADC port.

Is there a way around this or do I need a different video card?

You should be able to try using a cheap voltage boost converter to get the necessary voltages for powering an ADC LCD. I think ADC runs off 28VDC, so you probably can just boost the 12V rail to make this work.

Something like: https://www.amazon.com/Onyehn-LTC18...ywords=boost+converter&qid=1626383248&sr=8-14
