| PowerBook 5xx ram mod? |
Posted by: EmmyOcelot on 2020-12-20 16:17:37 Hi everyone!
I got my hands on a PowerBook 520c a little while back and was wondering with the ram card kind of expensive and hard to find on eBay, could I get 2 8mb ones (identical cards of course) and combine them on one board to make a 16mb card? If so, would it be practical? Any answers would be appreciated!

SMD soldering/de-soldering isn't easy though and the gain of only 8mb doesn't seem worth it. Do you have a photo of the memory cards?

picture 4/10 gives a good picture and yes, they are blank pads.
